Toddler dies after falling into pool at Phoenix home

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Firefighters say a young boy has died after falling into a backyard swimming pool at a Phoenix home on Wednesday evening. Bystanders were performing CPR on the 3-year-old toddler when firefighters arrived at the house near 19th Avenue and Bell Road. Phoenix Fire Capt. Scott Douglas says the toddler was not breathing and didn't have a heartbeat, and was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
